The customer is from hardware stamping industry, producing components for intelligent locker. The material is demagnetized stainless steel, and they have been using flat stainless-steel plate for single stamping instead of steel coil because it is not thick.
However, there is a new project with material of 3.0mm thick stainless steel and they found out that the steel plate is easily to get stuck if it’s not flat enough, and manual adjustment is very difficult since the plate is quite thick and heavy, punch presses have to be stopped several times every day.
We have recommended the customer to use standard medium thick three-in-one feeder instead of buying steel plate to ensure the flatness of the material. Today, the customer brings a 3.0mm thick and 100mm wide stainless-steel coil to our factory for testing, and the result of flatness is good, we also demonstrate how to load the coil by simply operate the trolley and how to pull out the material from punch press if it gets stuck.
