New device designed for narrow but thick coil

The customer’s narrowest coil sheet is 15mm wide with thickness of 6.0mm iron. Due to the difficulty of handling such narrow coil, they have been using straight strips for production to avoid the headache of uncoiling and feeding. However, in order to enhance the production efficiency and control costs, they have decided to invest in a three-in-one feeding machine. To overcome the challenges of uncoiling and feeding thick and narrow coils, we have designed and equipped a narrow coil compatible device on our standard three-in-one feeder.

There is a switch button on the screen for narrow coil, the clutch will turn open and the power system automatically switches to the second feeding device to drag the narrow material instead of decoiling and then feed it into straightener. In addition, with special designed spacer and coil tray, it can prevent narrow coil from loosening during feeding.

Before delivery, the customer also brought 15mm/30mm width and 6.0mm thick metal strip to test the performance of straightening and other functions. The bended strip has been flattened after adjustment, we also sent our after-sales team to the production site to make sure the feeder is well installed and perfectly work with their stamping tooling.
